What should I expect on my first visit?
Your first appointment with us is generally an easy one. At this visit we will complete a comprehensive exam. This entails six basic x-rays and a thorough clinical exam. We will conduct an oral cancer screening to reveal any suspicious growths and lesions. We thoroughly examine your gums and evaluate for signs of gingivitis or periodontal disease. After your exam is complete, you will receive a detailed breakdown of any treatment needs. We do our best to accommodate some time with the hygienist to get your cleaning completed. However, when periodontal disease is diagnosed we may not be able to complete your entire cleaning.
Is there anything I need to bring to my first appointment?
You can get a head start on your new patient paperwork by accessing the Four Points Dental New Patient Paperwork. If you have an extensive health history and take many medications, it is very helpful if you bring your medication list. In addition, make sure to bring your drivers license or alternative form of government issued identification. If you have an insurance card, please bring that as well.
